Who is the Cutest Couple of 2026?

Over the last two weeks, Sabers have been voting for their friends and teachers to see who is the cutest couple, friendship, and teacher pair. The votes have been counted and it’s time to announce the winners!

The winners of the 2026 Cutest Best Friends competition, Kelton Collins and Alexander Brown!

The winners of the 2026 Cutest Best Friends, with a whopping 25% of the votes,

are  seniors Alexander Brown and Kelton Collins! They have been friends for many years, and were the runner-ups in last year’s competition. They received a total of 65 votes.

Runner-ups this year are Brady Meier and Jack Miller with 43 votes, Brooke Crank and Maddie Adams with 30 votes, Jayton Jess and Van King with 26 votes, and Marissa Fee and Khalief Tanner with 21 votes.

The winners of the 2026 Best Teacher Duo, Mr. and Mrs. Waterbury!

Mr. and Mrs. Waterbury won the Best Teacher Duo this year, with a total of 97

votes. Mr. Waterbury teaches Earth Science and Field Science classes, as well as being our head football coach. Mrs. Waterbury teaches American History and AP US History. 

Runner-Ups are Mr. Grell and Mr. Ohnemus with 63 votes, Mr. Greubel and Mr. Uttech with 45 votes, Renee Meier and Rachel Grager with 25 votes, and Mr. and Mrs. Mercado with 16 votes.

Finally, the Cutest Couple at CDHS is Ava Putman and Hudson Krukow! They won

The Cutest Couple of 2026, Hudson Krukow and Ava Putman!

with 50 votes, and also won Homecoming King and Queen this past fall. 

Runners-up for Cutest Couple include Kerrigan Jefford and Noah Ericksen with 38 votes, Chloe Blanchard and Patrick Newkirk with 37 votes, Blake Watts and Ella Goodall with 24 votes, and Adalyn Leistikow and Cade Daniels with 22 votes.
